Rush is a period of time given for non-brothers to collect information about the fraternity, and to get to know the brothers. At the end of this period, a bid, or a formal invitation to begin the pledging process, will be awarded by the discretion of the members of the fraternity.
Lambda Phi Epsilon, the first and only national Asian American interest fraternity, can open numerous doors for you both now and many years down the road. We are a social / service fraternity with Asian American concerns and interests in mind. We aim to serve our community and university to the fullest of our abilities, along with providing Asian Awareness throughout. Lambda Phi Epsilon provides a common ground for men with similar goals and beliefs to come together and unite as one. Together as one, we can better channel our energy towards many charitable causes and beneficial events. As one, we can stand our ground on many issues and make the changes that we deem necessary.
1. What is Rush?
Rush is an opportunity for you to meet us and for us to meet you. It's
also a great way for you, the rushee, to ask any questions you may have
about Lambdas, the greek system, or fraternity life in general. But
most of all, there is no pressure, come out and meet the guys, our lil
sisses, and the sorority girls.
2. Do I have to pay to rush?
No, rush is free to all interested people.
3. Do I have to be Asian American or Pacific
Islander to join Lambdas?
No, our house welcomes people of all ethnicities to come rush. Our
house is composed of people from many ethnic heritages including those
that are not Asian.
4. Does rush obligate me to anything at all?
Coming out to rush does not commit you to anything at all. Rush is a
time to check out
Lambdas and see if it is for you.
5. How often do you RUSH?
We typically hold rush twice a year, fall and winter quarter.
